Sessions are paced to allow for breaks, adjustment, and simple direction throughout. I use straightforward techniques to guide your dog’s attention, and leads can be used for support and fully edited out when needed.
Most dogs I photograph are not perfectly trained — and they don’t need to be.
If your dog can stay nearby and engage with a little guidance, we can create something beautiful together.

Hi there! Welcome to Shutterpug.
Shutterpug was created from the belief that dogs are family and deserve to be photographed with the same care as any loved one.
I’m drawn to the character and personality dogs bring into our lives, and I reflect that in every portrait.
Together, we’ll create portraits that feel true to your dog and at home in your space.
Session details & pricing
Each session includes 5 fully edited digital images, chosen from a curated set of your dog’s best portraits.
After your session, you’ll receive a gallery of 10 images to review—a carefully selected set of your strongest images, without a large gallery to sort through.
From there, you can select your 5 favorites or upgrade to the full set of 10, which includes a $100 studio credit toward finished pieces for your home.
