I’m a pet storyteller and keeper of a hive of busy B’s—my husband Blake, our rescue pups Bert and Bodie, and soon, a Baby Boy due in May 2025!

Blake isn’t just my partner in life—he’s also my photography assistant and an unofficial dog whisperer (much to my dismay, dogs always adore him more than me!!!)
At home in Fredericksburg, Virginia, our lives balance adventure and comfort. Bert loves leading us on outdoor explorations, while Bodie is all about snack-fueled couch relaxation (as am I!).
Why I Do What I Do
I was born with an insatiable love for animals (dogs especially!), but it’s been a journey to channel that passion into my life and career.
What began as a quiet fascination grew into a proud identity—a devoted pet portraitist on a mission to honor the unique souls of the animals we adore.
Ever since I could hold a crayon, I’ve been creating stories about dogs through pictures. What started as sketching picture books has transformed into capturing their essence through my camera lens.
To me, pets aren’t just companions—they’re family and equals. They enrich our lives with their love, quirks, and emotional intelligence. Since they can’t tell their own stories in words, I’ve made it my mission to reveal their true selves through images that honor their individuality.
